The Crown at Ampney Brook near Cirencester has been crowned Gloucestershire County Winner in The National Pub & Bar Awards 2025. The pub sits beside the Wild Thyme & Honey boutique hotel in Ampney Crucis and was chosen ahead of The Bell Inn in Langford near Lechlade, Dr Foster in Gloucester and The Lion in Winchcombe. The awards were announced in London on June 24, with 94 county winners revealed live and a national list shared online.

On the national stage The Bull in Charlbury in Oxfordshire was named best pub in the UK, and the event also recognised groups such as Camerons and Inception Group with their respective awards. The ceremony announced more honours including the Tyrrells Tyrrellbly Good Taste Award to The Tollemache Arms in Northamptonshire and a new Industrys Choice Award that went to The Devonshire in Soho.
