EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Students from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC) and Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) faced off today in a pioneering esports match. Mikinley Prafke, Assistant Esports Coach for UWEC, noted the significant growth of their esports club, which now has over 500 members. Prafke emphasized the inclusive environment of esports, stating that it welcomes students of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
