Qualcomm is set to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 on September 23, and early indications suggest significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance. According to reports from a tipster, this new SoC can exhibit clock speeds exceeding 5.00GHz in initial testing. Final specifications, however, suggest the performance cores will run at approximately 4.60GHz and the new Adreno 840 GPU may reach 1.20GHz. Notably, these speeds represent an improvement over the previous generation. The AnTuTu benchmark has also revealed promising scores, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 reportedly approaching 4 million points, nearly 50 percent above the current record holder, the iQOO 13, which scored 2,671,305 points.
