Bandai Namco and Brownies revealed Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, a roguelite action RPG headed to Nintendo Switch on September 19, 2025. A Switch eShop demo is live on multiple platforms, offering the prologue and four of the eight guardians as players explore Shinju Village and its hub of activity, from the Blacksmith to the Dojo to the village lore.

The game lets you play as Rekka, Shigin, Origami, and Nishikito to face Magatsu and his Magaori minions, with sword and staff based combat and guardian unique abilities. Hitoshi Sakimoto provides the music, giving the world a cinematic edge. Pre orders unlock guardian vestments and a deluxe edition adds digital artbook and soundtrack, signaling a strong emphasis on collectible content.
