The city in Turkey ranked lowest in a survey of 16 popular spots for 10 tourist items, including meals and drinks, with a total cost of £128.99. This is significantly lower than other destinations like Ibiza, where the same items cost £242.79. Factors such as the decline of the Turkish lira have contributed to the affordability. Other budget-friendly locations included Sunny Beach in Bulgaria and the Algarve in Portugal. Laura Plunkett from Post Office noted that although local prices are up due to currency issues, British visitors still benefit from the favorable exchange rate.
