Channing Tatum and Rebecca Wang have joined the English dub cast for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle arc. Crunchyroll and Aniplex announced that the pair will voice Keizo and Koyuki alongside returning performers Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado, Abby Trott as Nezuko Kamado, Aleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke Hashibira. The Infinity Castle arc is planned as three feature films, with the first chapter released in Japan last month and a US and Canada rollout set for September 12 through Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The news highlights the expanding global reach of the series as it builds on a strong fan base for its action and animation.

Demon Slayer began as a 2016 manga and became a worldwide hit after the 2019 anime by Ufotable. The latest season ended with a cliffhanger last summer, and Infinity Castle frames a major three-film event that aims to bring new audiences to the franchise.

The move to add well known actors to the English dub reflects a larger marketing trend where star power helps cross over to non traditional anime fans. It also tests how far a prestige casting strategy can support both streaming and theatrical plans for a long running series. While the addition may boost excitement, it raises questions about budget and how much voice changes affect longtime listeners’ attachment to the characters.

If Infinity Castle succeeds at the box office and on streaming platforms, it could accelerate more cross border productions and longer arc adaptations. But there is a risk the project could feel merchandising driven if the voices conflict with fans’ memories of the characters.
