Cafe Neuro York was founded by neuro psychologist Diana Toseland to give people with neurological conditions a place for peer support and practical ideas for living well. The charity is now seeking a freelance activity coordinator to build on the work and help more members. The role is home-based, about 16 hours a month (192 hours a year), at £20 per hour, with the candidate using their own IT equipment and a mobile phone provided by the charity. The closing date is September 7, with face-to-face interviews on September 22 at New Earswick Folk Hall and a catch up session on September 19.

The coordinator will help deliver new activities, expand the charity work, and give members a voice about what they want. The group supports people with MS, Parkinsons, epilepsy, MND, stroke, brain damage, trauma and more.
