Beijing hosts the first World Humanoid Robot Games as hundreds of humanoid robots take the stage for an opening ceremony. More than 500 robots form 280 teams from 16 countries, including the United States, Germany, and Japan, and they will compete in sports such as soccer, running, and boxing. The opening show featured robots performing hip hop, martial arts, and playing keyboard, guitar and drums, with some models modeled in hats and outfits.
