Today, Alberto Barbera unveiled a diverse and exciting lineup for the Venice Film Festival, which will take place from August 27 to September 6. Notable entries include Luca Guadagnino’s After the Hunt, featuring a star-studded cast including Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield. This film, which explores themes of morality and personal conflict, will be presented Out Of Competition. In Competition, Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly stars George Clooney and Adam Sandler and is set to be released in theaters and on Netflix later this year. Other anticipated films include Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and Kathryn Bigelow's A House Of Dynamite. The festival will open with Paolo Sorrentino's La Grazia, a film that follows a fictional presidency in Italy. The lineup also features revered actors like Kim Novak, who will receive a lifetime achievement award, and a strong jury headed by Alexander Payne.
