He is also required to cover aircraft security and personal maintenance costs during his stay and for his return. Weather and the remoteness of the location have kept him at a military facility on King's George Island, and officials say his plane cannot currently undertake a flight. Guo told the Associated Press he is relieved by the outcome and is hopeful about continuing his original mission once departure is possible.
