UPDATE The August 2025 PS Plus Extra and Premium lineups have been announced. The batch features Mortal Kombat 1 and Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered alongside Sword of the Sea, Earth Defense Force 6, Atelier Ryza 3 Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key, Unicorn Overlord, Indika, Harold Halibut and Coral Island. On Premium, players can access the original Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, while a five hour Death Stranding 2 On the Beach trial is included under the Game Trial scheme.

Capitalizing on timing, Sony announced the reveal at 4:30 pm BST on August 13, with games arriving on August 19 for PS4 and PS5. The July lineup previously topped expectations with Cyberpunk 2077 and Abiotic Factor, setting a high bar. The August slate mixes blockbuster remasters with smaller titles to appeal to a wide audience and spreads value across both Extra and Premium tiers.
