Google has officially announced the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL at the Made by Google event. The phones introduce Qi2 wireless charging with PixelSnap magnets that align chargers to the back of the devices. The feature promises faster wireless charging and creates a new accessory ecosystem for Pixel owners. The phones keep a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP wide lens a 48MP ultrawide with macro and an upgraded 48MP 5x telephoto lens. ProRes support remains standard for creators.

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL pack a 6.3 inch and 6.8 inch Super Actua display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 3 300 nits. Google says battery life exceeds 30 hours about 25 percent more than the previous generation. The Pixel 10 Pro supports 30W wired charging while the XL supports 45W. Both phones use Qi2 wireless charging with the XL being the first to support Qi2 2 delivering up to 25W while the base Pro caps at 15W. Both models come with 16GB RAM and run the Tensor G5 chip bringing on board AI features like Magic Cue and Camera Coach. They come in Moonstone Jade Porcelain and Obsidian. Prices start at 999 for the 128GB Pixel 10 Pro and 1199 for the 256GB Pixel 10 Pro XL. Pre orders begin today with shelves set for August 28.

The move to Qi2 and PixelSnap is a bold step that could reshape the accessories market for flagship phones.
