Patriots show depth in preseason win against Vikings

The New England Patriots beat the Minnesota Vikings 20-12 in their second preseason game on Saturday. Undrafted receiver Efton Chism III stood out, leading the Patriots with six receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown as he continued his strong summer performance. TreVeyon Henderson also flashed his potential, scoring a touchdown near the goal line and adding an 11-yard gain on a third and 10 to move the offense.

Defensively, Anfernee Jennings was active and finished with three sacks, showing he can pressure quarterbacks in a rotating frontline. On the downside, Javon Baker had a second straight uneven showing, catching one of seven targets and dealing with a few penalties. Kyle Duggar played into the fourth quarter and did notch an interception on Minnesota's final pass attempt, but the play drew attention for how it unfolded and the questions it raises about finishing games consistently.
