Luke Littler defeated Mike De Decker 8-4 in the final to win the Australian Darts Masters, his first World Series title of 2025 and the fourth of his career. The 18-year-old added five 180s, a 143 checkout and posted an average of 99.10. He had earlier beaten home favourite Damon Heta and top seed Stephen Bunting in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively. World No. 1 Luke Humphries was whitewashed 6-0 by De Decker in the last eight, while Gerwyn Price's hopes fell to Chris Dobey in the quarter-finals. The tournament also confirmed that from next year the Australian Darts Masters trophy will be renamed the Kyle Anderson Trophy in honour of the late Australian player. Littler's victory comes after a mixed run on the World Series circuit this year and sets up a trip to Auckland next weekend before the finals in Amsterdam in September.
