Elizabeth McGarry, beloved mother and grandmother, has passed away peacefully at home.

Elizabeth McGarry passed away on August 1, 2025, at her home in Loughgiel, surrounded by family. She was the devoted wife of the late James McGarry and the cherished mother of six children, including Elizabeth, Laurence, Colette, Pearse, Finbar, as well as the late Marion and Vincent. Her remains will be taken to St. Patrick's Church for a funeral mass before burial at the nearby cemetery. Family and friends can pay their respects at her home on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Marie Curie.
