Recent data reveals that 81% of driving test centres in Britain have reached the maximum waiting time of 24 weeks for learner drivers. This statistic reflects a dramatic increase from only 161 centres at the start of this year. Average waiting times across all centres have risen from 14 weeks in February to 22 weeks in May 2024. AAA Driving School warns that conditions for learners cannot get any worse.
